I am the founder of the vibrant Ruby Community in Santa Fe, my hometown. Since the early days of Ruby on Rails, starting from version 1.2 in 2004, I have been a pioneer in its use and development.

My contributions to open source include prominent projects such as Ruby on Rails, Ruby, Rubinius, and Rubyspec, Debian, among others.

But my life is not confined to the digital world. I am a musician with four albums and several singles produced by myself. I play Keyboards, Guitar, Bass and Akai MPC.

Calisthenics & Yoga

I practice calisthenics, yoga, and enjoy exploring rivers through kayaking. Furthermore, I dedicate myself to my garden as a relaxing hobby.

Minimalism & Reading

I embrace minimalism as a guiding philosophy, advocating for simplicity and clarity in all aspects of life. Drawing inspiration from renowned authors like Leo Babauta, Tim Ferris, and Robin Sharma, I immerse myself in their works, including "The 5 AM Club," "Flow: The Psychology of Optimal Experience," "52 Changes: Habits to Transform Your Life," and "Zen Habits." Through the wisdom imparted in these books and many others, I strive to craft a purposeful existence, centered on mindful living and meaningful pursuits.

Father

Above all, I am the proud father of a beautiful daughter, Martina. My aim is to live a minimalist life, seeking the essence in everything I do.
